Child Therapy
“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” - Fred Rogers
Even young children can struggle with big emotions and challenges that impact their daily life. At Bridging Connections Therapy, we support elementary-aged children (5 to 12 years old) who may be dealing with anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, difficulty managing emotions, school stress, or changes at home such as divorce or a new sibling. These experiences can show up in many ways—meltdowns, withdrawal, trouble sleeping, acting out, or changes in how your child relates to others.

Our child therapy sessions are designed with your child’s unique needs in mind. We use a mix of play therapy, creative expression, and age-appropriate conversation to help kids feel safe, seen, and supported. Therapy gives your child a space where they can explore their feelings, learn new ways to handle challenges, and build emotional resilience.

We also believe parents are an essential part of the process. That’s why we offer regular parent check-ins, guidance on how to support your child at home, and collaborative strategies to help your child grow and thrive.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. We’re here to support both you and your child every step of the way.
